German construction contract procedures (VOB) - Part C: General technical specifications in construction contracts (ATV) - Installation of gas, water and drainage pipework inside buildings
1.1This standard deals with plumbing work associated with the installation of pipework for gas,water and drainage services inside buildings and other structures.
1.2This standard does not cover:
— underground drainage (see DIN 18306);
-the laying of pressure pipework outside buildings (cf. DIN 18307).
1.3DIN 18299,clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
