The purpose of this International Standard is to give re-quirements and recommendations for the techniques of measurement used in impact tests. The requirements are to facilitate comparisons between results obtained by different laboratories and the recommendations are to assist such laboratories in meeting the requirements. Photographic methods are excluded from the present International Standard.
