This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the biological microscopes for lenses of dry system, hereinafter referred to as the "microscopes", using the objectives of Grade 2 or over of dry objectives specified in KS B 5615 (Biological microscope objectives) and the oculars of Grade 2 or over specified in KS B 5616 (Biological microscope eye pieces), with 1 60 mm or 1 70 mm in mechanical barrel length, which are not belonging to KS B 5605 (Biological microscopes for immersion-objectives). However, this standard does not apply to the parts of particular construction.
