This Standard specifies -- physical and chemical tests on raw rubbers; -- standardized materials, a standardized test formulation, equipment and process- ing methods for evaluating the vulcanization characteristics of all types of isobutene- isoprene rubber (IIR). NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as follows. ISO 2302 : 2005 Isobutene-isoprene rubber (IIR)-Evaluation procedures (MOD) In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21.
