- This Technical Specification describes a method for determining the content and particle-size distribution of the solid aggregate component, and also for determining the effective binder content, of cold-ramming pastes used in aluminium manufacture. The method is applicable to cold-ramming pastes made with coal-tar or bituminous binders but not applicable to resin-based binders.
