α-突觸核蛋白和 Tau蛋白參與形成的蛋白質淀粉樣聚集，已分別是帕金森氏病（PD）和阿爾茨海默氏病（AD）的重要病理特征。然而，一些相互重疊的臨床病例特征，如在有些AD和PD病人腦中均發現了α-突觸核蛋白和 Tau蛋白共聚集體。近日，來自上海交通大學和中國科學院生物與化學交叉研究中心等單位研究人員發表JBC文章-Structural Basis of the Interplay Between α-Synuclein and Tau in Regulating Pathological Amyloid Aggregation，重點解析了α-突觸核蛋白和 Tau蛋白互作及共聚集分子機制，對深入了解致病機理，疾病診斷及藥物研發具有十分重要意義，也為闡釋不同神經退行性疾病，尤其是PD和AD之間相互重疊的臨床病例特征提供了新思路。中國科學院生物與化學交叉研究中心自成立里來，圍繞以人類健康前沿研究領域中的神經系統疾病，先后取得了眾多科研成果。此次研究工作中，蛋白聚集動力學分析α-突觸核蛋白和 Tau蛋白互作共聚集內容，采用德國BMG專為長時間蛋白聚集檢測加固優化的FLUOstar Omega，完成大量長時間動力學分析（每次實驗可長達近百小時）。該型號儀器為該單位長時間蛋白聚集分析提供了重要技術支持，目前已有多臺同款儀器運行在該單位相關實驗室。
